The Senate Must Heed Mitch McConnell’s Wise Words and Wait to Fill Anthony Kennedy’s Seat on the Court

In light of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s pending retirement from the Supreme Court, I think it wise that the Senate follow a maxim set down by Mitch McConnell only two years ago:

“The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.”

Wise words.

I am confident that Mr. McConnell is filled with disgust at the pathetic hypocrites in his party who say “We will vote to confirm Justice Kennedy’s successor this fall.”
